Airtable is a mobile and desktop app that provides teams with a way to collaborate and manage projects all in one platform. Using a system bases, tables, and records team members can easily stay in the loop on each project’s tasks and their status, receive and respond to feedback, and more. Airtable can also make more time consuming or repetitive tasks a breeze through its automation programing.
There are so many base templates that public relations professionals can use to organize things like competitor research, press outreach, contact information, content creation and event planning. The tables for each base can look a bit overwhelming, but they are customizable and user friendly enough to fit each individual need.

Airtable has hundreds of base templates to choose from that you can customize to fit your need.

The best thing I found about the app is that you can track changes to project records. The activity log shows what was changed and who posted the change, but it red lines the original text that was deleted and green highlights the replacement text. You also have the ability to go back and see the revisions that were previously made for up to a year, which I thought was handy in case decisions to go to an earlier edition of specific content are made.
The thing I like least about Airtable, and this goes across both the desktop and mobile version, is that the project overview tables do not fit in one screen. So if you have to add more than seven columns of information, you will have to remember to scroll over to not miss any important updates.

Here you will see the desktop view of a table in a base.

There are four subscription options ranging from free to enterprise. The free subscription is geared towards small organizations that do not have more than 5 creators, and I think is a great
option for startups. Non-profits can purchase a Plus or Pro plan for 50% off.

The free version offers many great benefits including unlimited bases.

I think that overall, Airtable seems to be a very valuable tool in the life of a public relations professional and can make day-to-day project management much more streamlined and easier to see the larger picture of project progress. I will be utilizing the software in my professional life and I hope you find it beneficial as well!
